Many professionals and parents/carers tell us that they struggle to keep up with the rapidly evolving landscape of social media. We know children and young people are spending more time online, and it is vital that we have the knowledge to keep them safer. This session is designed to offer participants a thorough overview of social media and its influence on young lives. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of the main features of popular social media platforms and the potential risks involved.
